脯胺酸（Proline, PRO）檢測試劑盒 (CheKine™ Micro Proline (PRO) Assay Kit, KTB1430) 該試劑盒提供了一種簡單的方法，可檢測血清(serum)、血漿( plasma)、動植物組織、細胞和細菌(bacteria)等多種生物樣本中的脯胺酸（Proline, PRO）含量。測定過程中，脯胺酸（Proline, PRO）用磺基水楊酸（sulfosalicylic acid, SA）萃取。加熱處理後，脯胺酸（Proline, PRO）與酸性茚三酮溶液(acidic ninhydrin solution)反應生成紅色；用甲苯( toluen)萃取後，在520nm處測量吸光度。脯胺酸（Proline, PRO）廣泛存在於動物(animals,)、植物( plants)、微生物(microorganisms)及培養細胞。逆境條件(adversity conditions)下，植物體內脯胺酸（Proline, PRO）含量顯著升高。脯胺酸（Proline, PRO）含量的升高在某種程度上反映了植物的抗逆性，抗旱的品種往往累積更多的脯胺酸。因此，脯胺酸含量的升高可以作為抗逆育種的生理指標之一。

Applications notes	The kit provides a simple method for detecting Pro content in a variety of biological samples such as serum, plasma, Plant or animal tissue, cells, and bacteria. In the assay, Pro is extracted with sulfosalicylic acid (SA). After heat treatment, Pro reacts with acidic ninhydrin solution to produce red; after extraction with toluene, the absorbance is measured at 520 nm.

Also, use separate reservoirs for each reagent. • Ensure all reagents and equipment are at the appropriate temperature before starting the assay.

Background	Pro is widely present in animals, plants, microorganisms and cultured cells. Under adversity conditions, the Pro content in plants increased significantly. The increased amount of Pro reflects stress resistance to a certain extent, and varieties with strong drought resistance tend to accumulate more proline. Therefore, the increased amount of proline can be used as one of the physiological indicators of stress resistance breeding.
