產品介紹: BRCA1是乳腺癌易感基因(breast cancer susceptibility gene)，位於染色體17q(chromosome 17q)。該基因內的突變約佔乳腺癌(breast cancer) 高發家庭的約45％，並且至少佔早發乳腺癌(early-onset breast cancer)和卵巢癌(ovarian cancer.)發病率的家庭的80％。 BRCA1基因在包括乳房和卵巢在內的許多組織中表達，並編碼1863個氨基酸的預測蛋白。像許多其他與家族性癌症有關的基因一樣，BRCA1似乎編碼一種抑癌基因(tumor suppressor)，一種抑制腫瘤生長的蛋白質。
