RuBisCO催化兩個反應：D-核糖1,5-雙磷酸酯的羧化，二氧化碳固定中的主要事件以及光呼吸過程中戊糖底物的氧化裂解。 兩種反應同時發生，並且在同一活性位點競爭發生。

產品描述：Rubisco（Ribulose-1,5-雙磷酸羧化酶/加氧酶 (Ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase）催化光合作用中CO2固定的限速步驟(rate-limiting step)。從紫色細菌到開花植物，它顯然是同源的，由兩個蛋白質亞基組成，每個亞基有8個拷貝。在植物和綠藻(green algae)中，大亞基（〜55 kDa）由葉綠體rbcL基因編碼，小亞基（15 kDa）由核rbcS基因家族編碼。該抗Rubisco（Large chain）為鼠多抗(Mouse Polyclonal)多克隆抗體。
