　　利用luciferin＋ATP與lucifarase反應發出冷光的特性，偵測ATP冷光強度，進一步推算ADP/ATP比值與細胞存活的關係。除冷光偵測外，Biovision利用特定的偵測probe，使用化學呈色分析細胞中ATP或ADP含量。
