CheKine™羥自由基清除能力測定試劑盒(Hydroxyl Free Radical Scavenging Capacity Assay Kit, KTB1090),為研究各種樣品中的羥自由基清除能力(Hydroxyl radical scavenging Capacity),提供了一種簡便的比色法。在該測定中,H2O2 / Fe2 +通過Fenton反應產生羥基自由基(hydroxyl radical ),並將Fe2 +氧化為Fe3 +,導致536nm吸光度降低。樣品在536nm吸光度降低時的抑制率可以反映樣品的羥自由基清除能力(Hydroxyl Free Radical Scavenging Capacity)。羥基自由基•OH是氫氧根離子(OH-)的中性形式,具有高反應性(易於變成羥基),因此壽命短。但是,它們是自由基化學的重要組成部分。最明顯的是,羥基自由基是由氫過氧化物(hydroperoxides , ROOH)的分解產生的,或者在大氣化學中是由激發的原子氧(excited atomic oxygen)與水的反應產生的。羥基幾乎可以破壞所有類型的大分子:碳水化合物(carbohydrates),核酸(nucleic acids)(突變),脂質(lipid peroxidation, 脂質過氧化)和氨基酸(例如Phe轉化為m-酪氨酸(m-Tyrosine)和o-酪氨酸(o-Tyrosine),導致細胞結構(cell structure)和功能受損(function damage),然後導致新陳代謝失調(metabolic disorders)。羥基自由基的清除能力代表了抗氧化能力,廣泛用於抗氧化保健品(antioxidant health products)和藥物的研究。

- Usage notes
- If not assayed immediately, samples can be stored at -80°C.
• In order to compare the hydroxyl radical scavenging capacity of different samples, serum, tissue homogenate, juice and other liquid samples must add the same volume for the same batch. Exact or Drug must be diluted to the same concentration. - Storage instructions
Storage at 4°C and Keep from light immediately upon receipt. Kit has a storage time of 6 months from receipt. Refer to list of materials supplied for storage conditions of individual components.
