產品描述：肌動蛋白(Actin)是高度保守(conserved protein)的蛋白質，是細胞骨架(cell cytoskeleton)的重要組成部分，在細胞質流(cytoplasmic streaming)，細胞形狀確定(cell shape determination)，細胞分裂(cell division)，細胞器運動(organelle movement)和延伸(extension growth)生長中起重要作用。 優先表達於年輕的和不斷擴大的組織，花器官原基(floral organ primordia)，發育中的種子(developing seeds)和新興花序(emerging inflorescence)。 擬南芥(Arabidopsis)有一個複雜的肌動蛋白基因家族(actin gene family)，編碼六個蛋白質亞類(protein subclasses)。 其中一類由蛋白質ACT2和ACT8代表，它們是相似的蛋白質，但是在密碼子codons中具有不同的側翼序列(flanking sequences)，內含子(introns)和沈默核苷酸位置(silent nucleotide positions)。 ACT8在根(root,)，莖(stems)，葉(leaves)，花(flowers)，花粉(pollen)和長角果(siliques)中表達。
