煙醯胺腺苷二核苷酸(Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide , NAD)是一種酶共體(enzymatic cofactor)，涉及許多氧化還原反應(redox reactions)。NAD作為電子載體(redox reactions),在氧化 (NAD) 和還原 (NADH) 形式之間迴圈。NAD 除了在紅氧反應中的作用外,在 ADP-核糖酸反應中扮演重要的作用,並且作為sirtuins的substrate。Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) is an enzymatic cofactor involved in many redox reactions. NAD functions as an electron carrier, cycling between the oxidized (NAD) and reduced (NADH) forms. In addition to its role in redox reactions, NAD plays critical roles in ADP-ribosylation reactions and as a substrate for sirtuins.

Abbkine Micro Coenzyme Ⅰ NAD(H) Assay Kit(貨號KTB1020), 檢測各種組織和細胞各種胞器中NAD 和 NADH比例。此試劑盒基於酶循環反應 (它不辨認 NADP+/NADPH),其中形成的 NADH 減少了 formazan (MTT) 。以波長 OD565 nm 下測量，吸收光的強度與樣品中的 NAD+ /NADH 濃度成正比。 96 孔板測定中的檢測限值為 0.78 μM 線性最高 50 μM NAD+/NADH。
