基於 20 μg/mL 提取物負荷的人心臟組織提取物、基於 50 μg/mL 提取物負荷的結腸組織提取物和基於 25 μg/mL 提取物負荷的骨骼肌組織提取物的天然細胞色素 C 的內插濃度。細胞色素 C 的濃度一式兩份測量並從細胞色素 C 標準曲線內插，並針對樣品稀釋進行校正。繪製內插稀釋因子校正值（平均值 +/- SD，n=2）。平均細胞色素 C 濃度在心臟組織提取物中測定為 35.41 ng/mL，在結腸組織提取物中測定為 32.74 ng/mL，在骨骼肌組織提取物中測定為 43.12 ng/mL。
其他物種的反應性是通過測量人和大鼠心臟組織提取物樣品的 20 μg/mL 提取物負荷，從人標準曲線中插入蛋白質濃度，並將插入濃度表示為人心臟中蛋白質濃度的百分比來確定的組織提取物。大鼠心臟提取物的交叉反應被確定為 100%。由於大鼠和小鼠細胞色素 C 的氨基酸序列 100% 相同，因此可以假設小鼠細胞色素 C 具有相同的交叉反應性。
