顆粒溶素(Granulysin)是一種存在於細胞毒性 T 細胞(cytotoxic T cells )和自然殺傷細胞( natural killer cells)的細胞毒性顆粒中的蛋白質。顆粒溶素( Granulysin)是類皂苷蛋白 (SAPLIP) 家族的成員，在抗原刺激後從細胞毒性 T 細胞中釋放出來。顆粒溶素( Granulysin)對結核分枝桿菌和其他生物體具有抗微生物活性。顆粒溶素( Granulysin)被交替剪接，產生 NKG5 和 519 轉錄物。顆粒溶素( Granulysin)是一種細胞溶解和促炎分子，首先通過篩選“晚期”（3-5 天）表達的基因來鑑定人外周血單核細胞的活化。顆粒溶素( Granulysin)存在於細胞毒性 T 淋巴細胞 (CTL) 和自然殺傷 (NK) 細胞的細胞溶解顆粒中。顆粒溶素( Granulysin)被製成 15 kD 分子，它的一部分在氨基和羧基末端被切割成 9 kD 形式。

Test principle:	The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Granulysin(GNLY). Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells then with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Granulysin(GNLY). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain Granulysin(GNLY), biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of Granulysin(GNLY) in the samples is then determined by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
