細胞粘附(Cell adhesion)在細胞通訊(cellular communication)和調節(regulation)中起重要作用，對組織的發育(development)和維持(maintenance)具有重要意義。纖維黏連蛋白(fibronectin)是一種高分子量的細胞外基質醣蛋白(extracellular matrix glycoprotein)，參與許多細胞過程，包括組織修復(tissue repair)、胚胎形成 (embryogenesis)、血液凝固(blood clotting)和細胞遷移(cell migration )/粘附(adhesion)。 ScienCellTM 纖維黏連蛋白粘附檢測(Fibronectin Cell Adhesion Assay)專為快速、定量和可靠地測量細胞對纖維黏連蛋白(fibronectin)的粘附(cell adhesion)而設計。該試劑盒由預塗有纖維黏連蛋白(fibronectin)的 48 孔板以及作為陰性對照的 BSA 組成（參見圖 1 中的板格式）。細胞在預包被的孔中培養一段所需的時間，然後洗去未結合的細胞，固定和染色粘附的細胞，然後進行提取步驟，將染色細胞中的染料洗脫到上清液中。因此，可以使用比色 ELISA 酶標儀在 595 nm 處量化細胞粘附。
