產品描述： IRS-1（胰島素受體底物1）磷酸化響應胰島素(insulin)刺激細胞。 配體誘導(ligand-induced)的磷酸化後，IRS-1立即與一系列含SH2域的信號傳導中間體（例如PI3-激酶，GRB2，Syp和Nck）締合。 與激活的IRS-1結合的含SH2的蛋白質在結構和功能上的多樣性水平對胰島素的反應性很重要。 IRS磷酸化(IRS phosphorylation)通過允許葡萄糖攝取(glucose uptake)，糖原合成(glycogen synthesis)和促有絲分裂活性(mitogenic activity)來引發胰島素生長因子和胰島素的生長和代謝作用。 IRS-1在170至185 kDa之間遷移，並在大多數細胞類型中表達。
