Description	The Aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) is a ligand-activated transcriptional factor that regulates genes implicated in drug metabolism, cell proliferation, immune responses, circadian rhythm and tumor promotion. Due to the numerous and varied effects that AhR activation may have on the cell, research investigating novel AhR ligands is important for drug interactions and chemically induced carcinogenesis. The AZ-AHR Stable HepG2 Luciferase Reporter Cell Line is a sophisticated and highly sensitive tool for gene reporter assays through the dose- and time-dependent induction of luciferase activity in response to various AhR ligands.
