產品描述： L-天冬氨酸(L-aspartate)或L-半胱氨酸(L-cysteine)生物合成L-谷氨酸 (L-glutamate)，谷氨酸水平的重要調節劑。谷氨酸是脊椎動物中樞神經系統的主要興奮性神經遞質(excitatory neurotransmitter)。作為腦神經保護(brain neuroprotection)中谷氨酸的清除劑(scavenger)。 天冬氨酸氨基轉移酶活性(aspartate aminotransferase activity) 參與發育期間(development)和脂肪細胞甘油生成(adipocyte glyceroneogenesis)中的肝葡萄糖合成(hepatic glucose synthesis)。 使用L-半胱氨酸(L-cysteine)作為底物(substrate)，調節巰基丙酸鹽(mercaptopyruvate)的水平，巰基丙酸鹽(mercaptopyruvate)是硫化氫的重要來源。 通過3-巰基丙酮酸硫轉移酶（3-mercaptopyruvate sulfurtransferase , 3MST）的作用將巰基丙酸酯轉化為H2S。 硫化氫(Hydrogen sulfide)是大腦中重要的突觸調節劑(synaptic modulator)和神經保護劑(neuroprotectant)。 BioVision的AST ELISA試劑盒是一種夾心ELISA試劑，用於定量測定小鼠血清，血漿和細胞培養上清液中的AST。 顏色密度與從樣品中捕獲的小鼠AST的量成比例。
