產品描述：半胱氨酸（Cysteine, CYS）是一種含巰基sulfhydryl-的氨基酸，是蛋白質的重要結構和功能部分。在動物中，Cysteine半胱氨酸是由高半胱氨酸的硫化反應合成的，高半胱氨酸本身是由氨基酸甲硫氨酸的代謝產生的。胱硫醚β-合成酶催化高半胱氨酸與絲氨酸縮合形成胱硫醚，胱硫醚被胱硫醚β-裂解酶脫氨基和水解形成半胱氨酸和α-丁酮酸。由於其親核性，半胱氨酸的巰基具有許多生物學功能。半胱氨酸殘基巰基之間形成二硫鍵有助於穩定蛋白質的三級和四級結構。半胱氨酸，同型半胱氨酸（HCY）和其他氨基硫醇以還原，氧化和蛋白質結合的形式存在於血漿中，通過氧化還原途徑相互作用。半胱氨酸是主要的細胞內抗氧化劑穀胱甘肽的限制性前體。具有較低半胱氨酸水平的個體更容易受到活性氧的損害，活性氧通常通過硫醇或通過穀胱甘肽連接的酶去除。總半胱氨酸水平升高也可預測心血管疾病和代謝綜合徵等不良後果。 BioVision的半胱氨酸測定試劑盒提供簡單，靈敏且高通量的適應性測定，可檢測各種生物體液中半胱氨酸的生理濃度。該測定的原理基於產生具有穩定信號的螢光團（Ex / Em = 365 / 450nm）的還原性半胱氨酸的巰基基團的切割，其與樣品中總半胱氨酸的量成正比。該測定是特異性的，而其他巰基氨基酸不干擾測定。該測定法可以在多種樣品中檢測到低至10μM的Cysteine半胱氨酸。
