color: #800000;\"><strong>Assay Principle:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n1 &#8211; Samples are thoroughly hydrolyzed in acid<br \/>\n2 &#8211; Hydroxyproline is oxidized by Chloramine T to a pyrrole<br \/>\n3 \u2013 The pyrrole is subsequently reacted with Ehrlich\u2019s Reagent to form a chromophore<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;
