The diabetic rats displayed significantly high levels of serum triglycerides, total cholesterol and LDL, as well as a low level of HDL, as shown in <a class=\"html-table html-tablepopup\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mdpi.com\/2076-3921\/11\/10\/2081#table_body_display_antioxidants-11-02081-t004\">Table 4<\/a>. The treatment of\u00a0<span class=\"html-italic\">C. papaya<\/span>\u00a0alleviated dyslipidemia in the Diab +\u00a0<span class=\"html-italic\">C. papaya<\/span>\u00a0group, which was similar to the metformin treatment.
